From STAO's - A Survivor’s Guide To Grade 11E Workplace Science. This unit consists of a few introductory lessons followed by a series of activity based classes. Students gradually assemble different parts of a simple device that can be taken home and used in the home as a remote on/off switch for an appliance like a TV, radio or lamp. During the development of the device, most of the practical issues involved with electric circuits can be addressed.

"Stop Static" is a safety campaign intended to increase public awareness of the potential danger posed by the discharge of static electricity during refueling.
